The Responsible Hospitality Institute (RHI) is a private, non profit organization founded in 1983 and is the leading source for events, resources and consultation services on nightlife. RHI assists communities to plan and manage hospitality zones through six core elements that are critical to creating safe, vibrant and economically prosperous places to socialize. RHI has led ground-breaking initiatives since the First Northeast Conference on Alcohol Server Liability at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in January 1984.

This event is presented in cooperation with the Major Cities Chiefs Association and the Los Angeles Police Department. The two day program will bring together the pioneers of nightlife safety best practices with innovators who are crafting new procedures and policies. You’ll hear cutting-edge strategies from model cities and experience Los Angeles’ nightlife as a learning laboratory. The final goal of the event is to establish a contemporary blueprint and guide for public safety and policing nightlife districts in the 21st century.

Case studies, showcase presentations and networking opportunities will facilitate solution exchange on these and many more topics.
